Lost er Lann is set in the heart of some of the most beautiful countryside Brittany has to offer, adjacent to the river Blavet.
The house is unique in that the river Blavet used to pass on the east side of the property, after Napoleon rerouted the river for strategic purposes it now passes on the west side.

Our gite Merle, which will accommodate parties of 4 persons plus a baby is surrounded by 3 hectares of private grounds bordering the river Blavet. There are extensive mature gardens which compliment the peace and tranquillity that is expected in such a location. Our gite location is ideal for those wishing to explore the surrounding area without having to use a car, use the bicycles, these are provided. Amble along the river to nearby Gamlen lock, enroute you may see the Heron sitting patiently on the river bank waiting to catch his supper or glimpse the wild deer in the woods. The area abounds in wildlife including, otters, coypu, red squirrels and a host of birds from the tiny wren the the green woodpecker. The Blavet Valley is a natural reserve for a multitude of flora and fauna for all seasons.

A sample of activities , you can take out our kayak, or if you have small children, take our bike with the children's buggy and you can cycle for miles, we also have a trailer bike which attaches to the back of an adult bike which helps children gain confidence and balance.
For those of you who's interest lie with serious relaxation, enjoy the ambience of the gardens followed by a dip in the Jacuzzi.
Within the grounds there is a boule pitch, swings and opportunity to play badminton.
