For those of you whose pleasure is fishing, the banks of the Blavet and its tributaries offer a great opportunity to while away the day in hope of a catch. The river is relatively slow and we are told by our local neighbours that it contains a variety of fish, carp, bream, roach, pike and zander. For those of you who enjoy carp fishing, there is a carp lake just 150yds stroll away, where arrangements can be made with the proprietor to fish on a daily basis, subjest to availability.
